What software does the Macbook Pro come with?

Thanks for the A2A.

Recently got a mid-2012 MBP Retina.

Software it came with --

Mac OS X 10.8.5.

What I did after getting the machine:

  1. Update to Yosemite
  2. Get free suite from Apple (Pages, Keynote, Numbers. GarageBand and/or iMovie?)
  3. ...
  4. Profit. (Enjoy Continuity and all.)

Anyway, the apps in the "Other" section are mostly about working with and managing your machine. For example, Boot Camp Assistant will help with setting up a Windows partition on your drive, or Activity Monitor will show you how apps are using your memory. Si trovano tutte in una cartella chiamata "Altro", per impostazione predefinita - ne ho riclassificate alcune come QuickTime Player e TextEdit, ma ho lasciato la maggior parte di esse.
