Impostazioni APN WindTre

The most up-to-date WindTre (Italy) APN settings for 2025 are as follows:

• APN: internet.it or windtre.it (either is supported by current carrier networks; "internet.it" is preferred by WindTre’s official guidelines ^{[2] [8]}, "windtre.it" is commonly referenced in tech forums and user guides ^[1].)
• Username: (leave blank)
• Password: (leave blank)
• MMSC: http://mms.windtre.it
• MMS Proxy: 212.245.244.100
• MMS Port: 8080
• MCC: 222
• MNC: 88
• Authentication Type: PAP or CHAP
• APN Type: default,supl,mms
• APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6

For most users, entering just the APN “internet.it” or “windtre.it” is sufficient for data. MMS requires the additional fields above ^{[1] [2] [8]}.

• For gaming or heavy download/upload, some guides suggest omitting proxy entries and setting protocol to IPv4 only for slightly lower latency ^[1].
• Instructions for setup: Go to your device’s APN settings (usually found under Settings > Mobile Network > Access Point Name > Add), enter the values above, save, and select the profile as active ^{[6] [8]}.

There is some inconsistency in older or non-official APN documentation (e.g., “internet.wind” or “mms.wind” ^[3]), but in 2025 the overwhelming consensus from both official WindTre sources and third-party guides supports “internet.it” as standard ^{[2] [8] [1]}.

No username or password is required. If you experience trouble after setting these values, restarting the device and re-selecting the APN profile is recommended.
