Pass Annuale FASTag: Tutto ciò che c’è da sapere

The phrase "pass now 2025" seems to refer—based on the most recent and relevant news—to the launch of the new FASTag Annual Pass, which becomes effective across India from August 15, 2025, for private vehicles on national highways and expressways ^{[1] [2] [4]}. If you meant something different (such as an event pass, exam pass, or a different country), please specify for a more tailored answer.

Key facts about the FASTag Annual Pass 2025:

• Launch Date & Price: Available from August 15, 2025, at a cost of ₹3,000 per vehicle for the year ^{[1] [2] [4]}.
• Eligibility: Only for private, non-commercial vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans with a valid FASTag linked to a vehicle registration number (VRN) ^{[1] [2]}.
• Coverage & Usage: Allows either 200 toll-free trips or unlimited travel for one calendar year (whichever comes first) on all National Highways and National Expressways managed by NHAI. Not valid on state highways or state-operated expressways ^{[1] [2]}.
• Activation: Pass can be activated online via the Rajmarg Yatra mobile app or the NHAI website, after verifying vehicle and FASTag eligibility and paying ₹3,000 online ^{[1] [2]}.
• How It Works: After activation, tolls at eligible plazas are prepaid—no per-trip payments are needed until either the 200-trip limit is reached or the year expires. After that, FASTag reverts to regular pay-per-use mode ^{[1] [2]}.
• Renewal: Once your pass or trip count expires, you can re-activate a new annual pass through the same process ^[2].

Main advantages:

• Substantial annual toll savings for frequent highway commuters.
• Fewer payment interruptions and faster toll plaza clearances.
• Promotes cashless, environmentally friendlier tolling and reduced congestion ^[1].
