Come faccio a capire il font di un testo?
Identifying Fonts in Images
If you want to find a font used in an image, I recommend using WhatTheFont as your first online service. It is an excellent tool that can identify the font used in an image in less than five minutes. To use WhatTheFont, follow these steps:
- Drag the image or section of the image with the text onto the WhatTheFont window.
- Click on the arrow that says "Click here to identify the chosen font!"
- Wait a moment for the tool to identify the font.
Alternatively, you can also register and upload the image with the desired font to WhatFont. The application will show you a list of similar fonts after you have uploaded the image.
Finding Fonts in PDFs
If you have a document in PDF, JPEG, or PNG format and want to find the font used, I recommend using Fontsprint Matcherator. This online service allows you to upload the image file, select the area of the text, and instantly know which font it is.
Identifying Fonts on Websites
To easily and quickly find the font used on a website, you can use the free browser extension WhatFont. Simply hover your mouse over the text you want to identify, and the extension will display the font information. This extension is available for Safari and Google Chrome browsers.
Downloading Free Fonts
There are several websites where you can download free fonts. Some of the popular ones include:
- Typekit: One of the best sites for downloading free fonts. Although thousands of fonts are available for a fee with Adobe Typekit, almost 1000 high-quality fonts are still available for free.
- DaFont
- Lost Type
- Type Worship
- Free Typography
- The League of Moveable Type
- Font Squirrel
- Northern Block
Finding Fonts Using Photoshop
To find a font using Photoshop, follow these steps:
- Select "Text" from the Photoshop menu.
- A new window will open, showing a brief overview of how this tool works.
- It will also confirm that you can search for similar fonts from the Adobe Typekit library.
Instagram Font Styles
Instagram offers different font styles for its stories. In addition to the standard Instagram Font called Classic, there are four new styles to choose from: Modern, Neon, Typewriter, and Strong. The Modern style is an uppercase font with a surprisingly modern look.
