Inability to See Online Status on Facebook
If you can no longer see who is on Facebook in 2021, clicking on someone’s name will show the text "Active now" next to the selected contact’s name. If you can’t see the online status of any user, you probably have your account set to appear inactive on Messenger.

To clear Facebook’s cache, you can use the Facebook debugger tool. This tool can be accessed in the developer’s area to refresh the cache of the desired link. Simply enter the URL you want to remove from Facebook’s cache.
Updating Facebook Page
To update your Facebook page, log in to your account using your login credentials, then select "Log In." After that, visit your page’s timeline. If you have more than one page, tap the menu at the top right of the screen and go to the "Pages" section. Then, choose the page you want to update.
Staying Updated on Facebook
To stay updated on Facebook, find the "See More" option on your phone by tapping the menu icon. To refresh your news feed with the latest updates, scroll down a bit and tap "Most Recent."
Friends not Visible on Facebook
If you can’t find the list of available friends, you should at least see your profile name in the Contacts > Active section. There should be an "Off" button next to it. To access the list of online friends, turn it on with a tap. To use Facebook to see which friends are active, follow these steps:
- Scroll down to the App section and tap "See All Apps."
- Click on Chat.
- People with the icon next to their name are active in the chat or on Messenger.
Unable to Access Facebook
Currently, green dots cannot be displayed in the avatars of comments and posts on Facebook Groups and Pages. Essentially, this feature can only be used if the contact has a public profile and has enabled privacy options.
