To type the letter "I" with two dots above it, use the combination Alt+132. Also, to type small numbers above, such as the letter "a" with the code 0170, press the Alt key, type 0170 on the numeric keypad, and release the Alt key.
To add a dash to a letter, use the combination ALT+196 on the numeric keypad.
To use special characters in WhatsApp, double-tap the word or phrase you want to format and select the Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, or Monospace option, depending on how you want to format the text.
To type words with special characters, such as dashes or sections (§):
