WGS84 coordinates are represented in degrees and decimals as angular quantities. In WGS84, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) are best represented in decimal degrees with 5 decimals.

To convert geographic coordinates from decimals to sexagesimal, follow these steps:

1. Separate the decimal part from the whole part. The total number corresponds to the number of degrees in the sexagesimal system.
2. Obtain a new decimal number by dividing the decimal part by 60.

To display 1 and 2 on the Cartesian plane, consider the x-coordinate, which is half. Apply the fraction 1/2 to the x-axis unit. Since the unit has 12 squares, you will get 6 squares.

Coordinates identify the position of each point on the plane. Two numbers make up the coordinates:

• The first digit represents the x-coordinate, which is the position relative to the horizontal axis.
