To change the language on your Android device, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Click on Languages & input.
- Choose the language.
- Select your preferred language (Italian, French, Spanish, etc.).
To change the language on your Xiaomi phone, follow these steps:
- Access the Settings app.
- Search for Additional settings.
- Tap on it.
- Once inside, choose Language & input text among the various options.
To change the language on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, follow these steps:
- Open Settings.
- Tap on General.
- Select Language & Region.
- Tap on iPhone Language and choose the language.
- Confirm your selection.
To change the language on your Huawei keyboard, follow these steps:
- Access the Settings menu on your Android device (gear icon on the home screen).
- Choose Language & input under System.
- Press the SwiftKey keyboard.
To add more languages to your Huawei keyboard, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings and select Advanced settings.
- Choose Language & input.
- Tap on Default keyboard.
- From the screen that appears, press Configure input methods.
- Toggle the switch next to the desired keyboard to enable it.
WhatsApp being available only in English could be a bug caused by recent updates, including the latest one released yesterday. It is a temporary issue that has also been reported in other countries, such as Portugal. To change the language on the keyboard accordingly, you can add a new language to Gboard using Android settings:
- Open the Settings app on your Android phone or tablet.
- Go to System > Languages & input.
- Click on Virtual keyboard in the "Keyboard" section.
- Select Gboard > Languages.
- Choose the language you want to use.
- Select the desired layout.
- Click on Done.
Note: Modern Android smartphones can no longer access Google settings through the app. Instead, they can be found scattered in various sections of the settings or within the Google app. To access Google settings, open the Google app and go to "More" > Settings.
To disable Google voice control, follow these steps:
- Launch the Google app on your device.
- In the opened screen, select your profile photo on the top left.
- Go to Voice Search.
- Toggle the switch for the "Ok Google" Hotword feature to turn it off.
- Finally, press the Done button on the top right.
Removing the software update icon is not possible. The software needs to be updated to release improvements, fix errors, and enhance security.
