To access Outlook.com or Hotmail, follow these steps:
- Go to the Outlook.com login page.
- Choose "Sign in" option.
- Select "Next" after entering your phone number or email address.
- On the next page, enter your password and choose "Sign in".
Note: Hotmail.com has been rebranded as Outlook. If you try to access the previous Hotmail.com website, you will be redirected to Outlook.
Webmail, or the online panel that allows you to manage your email directly from your browser, is the easiest and fastest method to access your email from any computer. All major email providers offer this type of service.
If you are unable to open your emails, it could be due to common issues such as:
- SMTP server error
- Incorrect Zimbra configuration
- Network error
- Authentication error
If you are using an Android device, follow these steps to access Gmail on your mobile:
- Go to the Settings app from your home screen or app drawer.
- Choose "Users & Accounts" and then "Add an account".
- Select "Google" and fill in the required fields with your Gmail address and password.
If you are having trouble accessing your Hotmail account, it may be due to incorrect system settings on your computer. Ensure that the date and time settings on your computer are correct.
If you are not receiving emails in Hotmail, check if the incoming mail filter is set to "Exclusive" as it may automatically block messages from safe senders or contacts. Make sure the sender is added to the list of trusted senders. Additionally, check your Hotmail account settings to see if there are any settings preventing you from receiving emails.
To open Hotmail without using Outlook, follow these instructions:
- Open Safari by tapping on the browser icon.
- Copy the following URL: www.hotmail.com.
- Enter your login credentials.
- Click on the login button.
- You can now use the Safari browser on your iPhone to directly read your email messages.
To unlock your Gmail account, find an old email from the person or account and click on the three dots to open the menu. Select the "Unblock [Name]" option. You can also remove the previously mentioned block by going back to Gmail Settings.
Issues with accessing Google and Gmail can be caused by:
- Username not being accepted or considered non-existent.
- Incorrect password or forgotten password.
- Account being blocked (the message may sometimes state that the account doesn’t exist, but it indicates that the username cannot be used by anyone else).
