To slide in Fortnite, simply run and press the crouch button. For PlayStation users, this is the ideal analog stick. To stop sliding, press the same button again.
Server Issues

- Follow the on-screen button prompts in the Fortnite main menu to access the game servers.

Troubleshooting on PS4
If Fortnite is not working on your PS4, you can try the following methods to restart the game:
- Return to the console’s main menu by pressing the PS button (located at the bottom center) on the controller.
Playing Fortnite on Mobile
Unfortunately, the Fortnite version for Android cannot be found in the Google Play Store. To install it on your phone, you will need to access the Fortnite.com/Android website from your device and download the installer.
Storage Requirements
- PC: After the 14.40 update, the PC version of Fortnite takes up less space. It now occupies between 26.5 GB and 29 GB on disk, compared to the previous 90 GB. Epic Games explained on social media that this is why the latest update weighs 27 GB.
- Mobile: Currently, Fortnite weighs 6.6 GB on our Android device.
System Requirements
- GPU: GeForce GTX 660 by Nvidia; AMD Radeon HD 7870 or equivalent DX11 GPU.
- Video Memory: 2 gigabytes of VRAM.
- Processor: Intel Core i5 3.5 GHz or similar version.
- RAM: 8 GB minimum, but having 8 GB or more will definitely improve the gaming experience.
Please note that different games have varying RAM requirements. Games like Fortnite, League of Legends, and Counter Strike: Global Offense may require as little as 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM. On the other hand, games like Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) and Rainbow Six Siege require at least 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.
