Viewing Browsing History
To view the products you have previously viewed on Amazon, follow these steps:
- Access your Amazon account through a browser on your computer.
- Click on the "Account & Lists" menu in the top right corner.
- In the dropdown menu, select "Browsing History".
- All the products you have viewed can be seen on the Amazon website.
Deleting Browsing History
To delete the products that are displayed on Amazon, follow these steps:
- Select each item you want to remove from the browsing history.
- Click on "Remove from view" below the item.
- Select "Manage History" and choose "Remove all items from view" if you want to remove all items.
Checking Archived Orders
To find out if an order has been archived on Amazon, follow these steps:
- Archived orders can be easily found in your account.
- Go to the "Order History" section under "My Account".
- Select "View Hidden Orders" to access the archived orders.
Deleting Order History
To delete the order history, follow these steps:
- Open Chrome on your device.
- Click on "More" in the top right corner.
- Select "History".
- Check the box next to each item you want to delete from the history.
- Click on "Delete" in the top right corner.
- Click "Remove" to confirm.
Removing Amazon Order Tracking
Currently, it is not possible to completely delete an order from the purchase history on Amazon. The only option is to "archive" an order, which hides it from the main purchase history.
Accessing Archived Orders
To view all archived orders, follow these steps:
- Go to amazon.it.
- Select "Account & Lists".
- Scroll down until you see the "Orders and Preferences" box.
- Choose "Archived Orders".
Deleting Google Search History
To delete the search history on Google, follow these steps:
- Open the Chrome application on your Android device.
- Click on "More" in the top right corner.
- Select "Clear browsing data".
- Choose the time period you want to delete in the "Time Range" section.
- Select "Browsing history".
- Click on "Clear data".
Removing Google Search History
To remove the search history on Google, follow these steps:
- Open the Google application on your Android device.
- Select "Settings".
- Tap on "Turn off" in the "Web & App Activity" section.
- If you see the option "Turn on", it means web and app activity is already disabled and your search history is not being saved to your Google account.
Clearing Google History
To clear your history on Google, follow these steps:
- Click on the Menu button (three vertical dots) in Chrome and select "More Tools" > "Clear browsing data" from the menu that appears.
- Alternatively, you can enter "chrome://settings/" in the address bar and press Enter.
- In the left column, select "Privacy and Security".
- Choose to clear browsing data.
- The options in the Basic section include browsing history, cookies and other site data, as well as images and files in the cache.
Browsing Privately
To avoid leaving traces when visiting a website, you can enable the incognito browsing feature. Follow these steps:
- Click on the three horizontal lines button in the top right corner.
- Choose "New Incognito Window".
- Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+N".
Controlling Online Searches
It is important to remember that anyone with access to your computer and account (at work) can easily check your browser history. Therefore, it is best to avoid using Facebook during work hours.
Monitoring Incognito Browsing
Your network operator can see the websites you visit when you connect in incognito mode. The same goes for the Wi-Fi network provider you connect to and the network used at work. The administrators of the web pages you access can also access your real IP address.
