To copy text from slides, follow these steps:

Saving the work as read-only is another way to preserve our presentation. To do this, click on the Office button and then click on "Prepare". Choose "Mark as Final" from the list and confirm with OK.
Click on "Select All" to select all objects and placeholders on the slide. Click on Select Objects or Stack or Behind Text to select hidden objects. Then, click and drag the objects.
Presentations or slideshows created using Microsoft PowerPoint can be contained in files with the extension ".ppt".
