Using MakeMKV
- First, download MakeMKV from the official website, install it on your computer, and launch the program.
- To begin, open the Preferences window by clicking on the gear icon.
- Select the folder where the MKV file will be created and click OK.
Using VLC Media Player
- Insert the DVD into your computer’s DVD drive and open VLC Media Player.
- Click on the "Media" menu and choose "Convert/Save" or press "Ctrl+R".
- In the "File" tab, click on the "Add" button and select the DVD drive.
- Choose the desired settings for the output file and click "Convert/Save" to start the copying process.
Using Windows Media Player
- Insert the DVD into your computer’s DVD drive.
- Open the File Explorer by clicking on the yellow folder icon in the taskbar.
- In the left sidebar, locate the CD/DVD drive icon and double-click on it.
- Copy all the files from the DVD to your computer.
Using HandBrake
- After selecting the DVD, click on "Open" in HandBrake.
- HandBrake will scan the DVD to find the available titles.
- After the scan, HandBrake will automatically choose the main title. Alternatively, you can manually select the title to rip from the drop-down menu.
Using Windows 10
- Drag and drop the folders or files into the File Explorer window of the DVD burner.
- Right-click on the file or folder you want to copy and select "Send to".
- Choose a CD/DVD burner from the list.
DVD Replication Methods
- DVD Decrypter can be used to copy a movie. Download and install DVD Decrypter from a website that offers DVD burning software.
- After loading the DVD onto your computer, locate the VIDEO_TS folder and copy it to your hard drive.

What are IFO and BUP Files?
- The IFO file contains information about multiple files, while the BUP file is a backup copy of the configuration files.
- Alternatively, the VOB file represents the audio/video content of the DVD.
How to Open a File with VLC Media Player
- Right-click on the video file you want to play and choose "Open with" VLC Media Player from the context menu.
- To convert a YouTube video to MP3 using VLC, open VLC and go to the Media section, then choose Convert/Save.
- Click on the Network tab and paste the YouTube video link into the URL field.
- Do not change the sampling rate, as it may result in a corrupted file.
