A rischio sono solo gli account che non vengono usati o in cui non si effettua il login da almeno due anni: questi verranno cancellati, insieme a tutti i dati associati, come email, file, e foto <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='1'>[1]<\/sup> <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='2'>[2]<\/sup> <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='3'>[3]<\/sup> <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='4'>[4]<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Per evitare la cancellazione, basta semplicemente eseguire un login periodico o utilizzare uno dei servizi Google collegati all\u2019account (Gmail, Drive, YouTube, Google Foto, ecc.) <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='1'>[1]<\/sup> <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='3'>[3]<\/sup> <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='4'>[4]<\/sup>. Molti utenti stanno ricevendo avvisi che, se non riattivano l\u2019account, questo sar\u00e0 eliminato entro una certa data nel 2025, ad esempio il 15 ottobre 2025 <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='2'>[2]<\/sup>. Gli account eliminati non potranno essere recuperati e il loro indirizzo email non sar\u00e0 pi\u00f9 riutilizzabile <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='6'>[6]<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Questa politica non interessa gli account aziendali o scolastici, ma solo quelli personali <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='1'>[1]<\/sup> <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='4'>[4]<\/sup>. Inoltre, a partire da gennaio 2025, Google non permetter\u00e0 pi\u00f9 l\u2019accesso tramite \u201capp meno sicure\u201d che accedono solo con username e password, rafforzando cos\u00ec la sicurezza degli account <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='7'>[7]<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Non sono confermate n\u00e9 pianificate la chiusura globale di Gmail o la disattivazione degli account attivi <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='1'>[1]<\/sup> <sup class='quote-ref' data-quote='3'>[3]<\/sup>.
